Epicor Showcases Epicor FFL Compliance Manager at the 2017 AcuSport Business Conference

Cloud-based, scalable, firearms compliance management solution on display during leading firearms industry show

Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, announced today growing momentum for the cloud-based firearms compliance management solution Epicor FFL Compliance Manager™, created in collaboration with the firearms compliance experts at Orchid Advisors. The solution will be presented in booth #419 this week, September 11-13, during the 2017 AcuSport Business Conference, the exclusive event for leading independent firearms retailers and manufacturers.

Epicor and Orchid Advisors designed the FFL Compliance Manager solution to make managing firearms bound books dramatically easier and to streamline ATF inspections for firearms dealers. Businesses such as Liberty Firearms Institute, Magnum Shooting Center, Frontier Justice, Smith and Edwards Co., and many others have invested in the solution.

“With firearms, it’s imperative that FFLs have an electronic bound book because it eliminates a large percentage of human error. The FFL Compliance Manager keeps us organized and prepared for imminent ATF audits, firearms traces, or any needs that are requested by law enforcement,” said Heather Rubel, store manager, Liberty Firearms Institute.

Solutions for efficient operations that strengthen industry relationships

The Epicor booth will also feature the Epicor Eagle N Series® solution, a fully-integrated retail management system. Introductions to the Eagle N Series integration with the AcuSport CustomerLink Exchange (CLX) program will be available onsite along with a new, fully integrated and cloud-based Range Management system for firearms dealers with ranges.

The strategic relationship between AcuSport, a prominent distributor of outdoor and shooting sports products, and Epicor will help independent retailers run operations more efficiently.

“We’re excited to have Epicor as a participant in this year’s AcuSport Business Conference—their presence better connects independent retailers to the solutions needed for operational improvements. Furthermore, we look forward to the future in helping independent retailers increase efficiencies with integrated access to the AcuSport CLX and Epicor Eagle N Series functionalities.”
Shannan Stover, CIO, AcuSport

“In the ever evolving industry of retail, independent businesses must implement new processes to succeed,” said Bill Wilson, senior vice president, product development, Epicor Software. “We've seen the momentum for an electronic bound book solution continue to increase since the introduction of FFL Compliance Manager. It's clear that many firearms dealers are ready for new techniques to enhance operations and we’re ready to partner with them.”
