Epicor Announces ‘Customer of the Year’ Global Winners in the Second Annual Customer Excellence Awards

Companies recognized for leveraging Epicor solutions and services to transform and grow business

Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, announced today the ‘Customer of the Year’ winners in its second annual Epicor Customer Excellence Global Awards program. The awards recognize innovative organizations that have successfully transformed operations by deploying Epicor solutions and services to achieve excellence in business efficiency, customer experience, and overall performance.

Epicor Customer Excellence Awards programs are run in the Americas, Asia Pacific, the United Kingdom, Middle East, India and Africa, with regional program winners automatically considered as finalists in the global categories for overall ‘Customer of the Year’ recognition.

The judging panel for this year’s global awards program welcomed Eric Kimberling, founder and managing partner of Panorama Consulting, a leader in the independent ERP consulting industry.

The following companies are the 2017 Epicor Customer Excellence Award ‘Customer of the Year’ global winners:

  • Birmingham Fasteners is the Business Transformation global winner, a Prophet 21 customer chosen for increasing revenue per employee by 32% and overcoming key hurdles that often set back ERP implementations.

  • Metal Tech Partners leveraged Epicor Cloud ERP to eliminate multiple in-house systems and free IT employees to focus on enterprise goals instead of ongoing on-premises day-to-day issues and is the global winner in the Cloud Deployment category.

  • The Customer Experience category global award winner is Fixfast, a customer with a keen eye on the “future state” of its business and who takes proactive steps using analytics from its Epicor ERP data to adapt accordingly.

  • In the Rapid Time to Value category, Epicor ERP customer Russel Finex Ltd took home the global award by tapping into its culture of continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration to maintain impressive project on-time delivery times in addition to keeping up with growth goals, which allowed IT staff to focus on customer-centric activities.

  • The global winner in the Technology Innovator category is Epicor ERP customer Re:Sound Music Licensing Company, selected for simplifying business processes by leveraging technology and demonstrating the value of the investment in the form of reducing administration costs as well as being able to generate more royalties revenue to its member organizations.

Criteria used to evaluate nominations included customer, employee and business impact, process improvements, and positive changes gained within the organization to demonstrate benefits and impact of the technology on the customers’ business. Project complexity, business objectives, and results achieved were also weighed in the final decisions.
